Two Things I Never Knew Before Becoming a Parent

1. That I would take such an interest someone else's bowel movements; and

2. That I would demand to see and be elated by someone else's poop in the toilet.

One thing I never expected to say before reading this blog post:

1. I am so jealous of your poop elation.

3. That you would have poop posts on a blog...

4. That total strangers would comment on the poop in your house...

Parenthood brings many surprises.

My life is defined by poop. It the one thing that bonds us mothers together. Well, that and the fact that we all politely turn away and not look at another mother living through a child having a melt down at target.

When you're my age, you're elated by poop in the potty too. It just that it's yours.
