Dear Nelson,
When I asked you to throw the sheets into the dryer, I though the fact that you should also turn on the dryer was implied. Clearly, I was mistaken. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some sour sheets to rewash, and shortly thereafter, to dry. In the dryer.
Your loving wife,
Jenni

LOL!
A word of advice. Be very clear with your sons as well, and maybe there will be hope for them. When you teach them to do laundry and guide them for the step in which the wets go into the dryer, you must always include that detail. Even when you call them on the fly such as, "I'm busy in the kitchen, can you please switch the wash from the washer to the dryer". And after two years they are still asking me how long to run them, even though the "normal" button always does the job and that is what I tell them every time.
How do men function?
Turn this into a form letter. Many wives across the world will be grateful.
OMG!
This needs to be worked into a needlepoint sampler and hung on the wall.
Don't forget to tell him to fold them in addition to "take the sheets out of the drier!" I can never decide if I feel better knowing other men have lost their minds (and in turn caused their wives to misplace some marbles as well!)
I love Becky's idea to stitch this into a sampler. Jimmy often will take a load of stuff out of the dryer before it's DRY. I'll come home and find it all wet and wrinkly in the laundry basket, and he thinks I should thank him for taking it out for me.
Okay, I think I have now caught up.
Brutal. Even *I* would have turned on the dryer and I'm kind of a clod when it comes to laundry—which my husband does because I was so bad at it.
Hopeless! :)
I understand what you are talking about... great post!
